Utorrent indir gezginler. NOTE: First step: check the document Symantec Ghost 11.5.x and later can work with hardware level RAID as well as some software RAID configurations, although software RAID is not supported:. While Ghost Solution Suite using WinPE has many storage drivers included, it is not possible for Ghost to supply every possible driver available. In some cases, the customer will be responsible for getting the correct mass storage driver added to the WinPE environment. In some cases, The Ghost Console may be able to image RAID. But in the event of an issue, a WinPE boot disk with the correct controller driver must be used.
Only RAID 0 and 5 can be used with Deploy Anywhere and only with boot disks. Only Ghost32 and ghost64 can be used with RAID and the RAID disk complies with all of the following conditions:. The disk is accessible from the host operating system. The pre-OS must be Windows Pre-installation Environment (WinPE).The ability to successfully back up types of RAID other than 0 or 5 depends on the specific computer model, driver controller, hard drive, and RAID implementation. With Ghost Solution Suite you may be able to image RAID level other than 0 and 5 with Volume OS imaging. You can only use Volume OS imaging with boot disks. Volumes are listed in Ghost as drives starting with the number 80. You will need to create and restore your images from volumes only - You cannot image RAID other than 0 or 5 via drive or partition imaging.

Use these instructions for imaging or restoring a hardware RAID array with GhostCasting:. Create a bootable Windows PE CD or DVD with the appropriate RAID drivers. Start a GhostCast Server session on a central computer. On the client computer, boot to the Windows PE disk and run Ghost32 or Ghost64. Join the GhostCast Server session to image or restore the drive.

Run an integrity check on the image. NOTE: Symantec Technical Support for Windows PE is limited to the use and troubleshooting of Ghost. Support is not offered for configuring or troubleshooting Windows PE operations outside the functionality of Ghost. The information below is provided 'as is' and questions about Windows PE or the process used to create a Windows PE disk should be directed to Microsoft.

Support for Ghost 11.x (ghost solution suite) is handled at the Symantec Connect forum, this Norton forum is for consumer products. That said, you don't say how your trying to create the image. If your doing this in DOS, try the option to create a DOS boot disc with USB support. (I'm guessing your external drive is USB).
But keep in mind your not going to get very good USB support in DOS even with the USB support added) For best results, create the windows pe boot disc, it will run in a win-32 environment and you should be able to access any drive that windows can. A third option would be to simply run ghost32 or ghost64 and create the image in windows, ghost will use volume shadow copy and should be able to image the partition even if it's in use. In the Documents folder of the installation CD you should find plenty of documentation on creating the different boot CD's or using the Ghost console.
Install Symantec Ghost (Standard Tools) on your computer. You will need to run GhostServer (GhostSrv.exe) either on your PC or or on the server you stored the image. In the last case just copy GhostSrv.exe to the server and run it. Check-out the documentation how to use it. You will need at least to define the name of the session, image to restore and number of clients you want to deploy at the same time. With Ghost Boot Wizard create WinPE bootable USB key (it has the fastest bootup time and supports most of NICs). I believe to wipe HDD and then re-image it is overkill but in the case if it's dictated by your rules, copy gdisk32.exe to USB (Ghost Boot Wizard prompts you for the additional files you would like to save to USB).
To wipe HDD use command GDISK32 disk# /QWIPE You bootup the target PC with USB then start ghost32 and select GhostCast as a method of deployment (suggest you select Unicast if you deploy up to 3 PC at a time). Then enter the name of the session GhostCast server accepts connections on, select the target disk and partition. Once you confirm to go with reimaging (and if the number of clients you set on GhostCast server reached) the imaging will start. Hope it helps.
